Party Time

It’s amazing how many years we have been friends, and how many birthdays we have been celebrating with each other. End of year is always a busy time for birthday celebrations. To the Nov-Dec babies, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

No more crazy drinking, but REDness seems inevitable.
CHEERS to good friends and great times together!

There were weddings, birthdays, hen’s party… Guess there are more to come.

hens ktv

It’s gona be Joen’s big day soon.
Before she turns Mrs, we threw her a KTV Hen’s Party!

wedding lunch

At a wedding lunch, where the three of us can’t stop self-entertaining.
Gawd, I think we are a hilarious bunch of cousins.

kayler first

Catching Kayler on her first burfdae!

YAY *cheers* to cheery celebrations!

Supported our sister station Power98’s event last Friday, more like I joined in some fun and had a great time at St James Powerhouse with a bunch of crankies.

I was thrilled to see some old friends, and was so happy that my dear girlfriend Zimin – a mother of one cute boy who had not club for more than two years finally decided to join me at the PARTY yay!!

cin and ying

Sorry Guanwen, your mama is drinking with me. Hehe…

The next Access98 Party will be on 31Jul.

Did you ever realise that you spend more time with your colleagues rather than with your family and friends? Seven days a week, you probably work for five or four days, from morning till evening, sometimes maybe even work OT till the night.

And so, I appreciate one of the greatest things that happened in my life is that I have some colleagues who are as dear as friends.

We share happy moments:

butter-again

At Butter Factory again, before it shut down for its revamp.

And we go through parting sadness together:

Tomorrow is Matt’s last day. All the best to you, boy!

Went to bai nian at Xianglin and Shanyi’s home sweet home. Of course, I was all excited to check out Shanyi’s culinary skills.

xl-cny-cook

The chef, the helper, the zobo-s and the “extras”
(me posing with strawberries and Jieying with oranges).

The food was finger-licking good! I personally liked the lamb chop and broccoli salad prepared by Shanyi. Actually, the sheppard’s pie that Xianglin ordered was pretty delicious too.

xl-cny-eat

Dig in!!

xl-cny-sweets

How can we miss out the sweets and lots of catching up?

Thanks Xianglin and Shanyi for being such wonderful hosts. So, when’s the next time huh? *grin*

Another round of yusheng YAY. Before CNY, I wished for many many yusheng sessions and my wish came true. So next, I wish for a lot a lot of money!!

cny-thai

The more we lao together, the richer we’ll be… …

Btw this restaurant near Tiong Bahru market serves very good Thai cuisine, and it offers set meals of reasonable prices. Its yusheng has a unique taste of Chinese-and-Thai mixed flavour, yum yum~

Then, we pre celebrated Charlene’s birthday, giving her a BIG surprise. Check out her surprise (or shock?) look ha!

char-bday

HAPPY BURFDAE CHAR! We’ll be pretty forever, I’m sure.

It’s still CNY, so keep up the joyous festive mood! Lalalala~

It was a heng heng affair, where we wore our lucky red and tossed the auspicious yusheng! For a better year of Ox ahead… Good health, good things and good money!!!

dsc02969

My second one for this year (before Sir Ox even arrives).

dsc02973

Ahh! I chiong-ed in to join the lao-ing of yusheng.

Then, there was the lucky draw, only meant for the reds. So, this fellow in maroon (wei! trying to smoke through huh?) had no choice but to… …

horrible

The desperate red.

dsc03005

The lucky one who won the first prize – $168 CASH!

dsc03020

Finally my turn… aiyo so gan jiong~

dsc03022

Don’t tell me I got the “consolation prize” - TOTO ticket (hmm…)

dsc03023

Disappointed.

But hey, I might be a millionaire soon!

Kay had friends who visited “merlion city” over the past weekend, and we clubbed for two consecutive nights.

The first one was quite shitty because Zouk was horribly packed due to a famous guest DJ spinning. But the second one was great! Didn’t expect Butterfactory to be fun, or maybe it was the company.

A night filled with housepours and shots, then more shots and then more housepours. Lots of cam-whoring actions too!

buttery-night

On that buttery night, there were Kay, Darren, Alvin, Donovan,
Kevin, Adrian and some calefares and “extras”… …

Some time back, maybe about ten years ago, we started with this boliao “speculating topic” about who will be the first to get married among this group of buddies. And yesterday 27 December 2008, we got the answer.

Congrats to my dear buddy Shawn: I’m happy for you that you have married a sweet and caring wife.

Millie: Congrats, you have found for yourself a kind and loving husband.

set-to-go

Rise and shine, we were all ready to set off to the bride’s home.

driver-tom

My first time experiencing Tomney’s driving skills.
Hmm… I would say, I’m glad I bought insurance *phew*.

the-little-ones

Aw~ these boys are really sweet!!
Malcolm (L) and Joel (R) are the cute nephews of Millie.

gatecrash

Drinking alcoholic milo and tobasco juice, wearing pampers,
drawing on stomachs, brushing with wasabi, cross-dressing… …
The gatecrash was quite a killer for the groom and “brothers”.

love-finally

It’s worth all the strength and sweat to win the hands of
such a lovely bride.

hortpark

Had fun taking photos at Hortpark. But it was super HOT!

the-first-one

Shawn, we are so happy for you!

the-unity

The couple came into the ballroom in a buggy, so cool… …

camwhoring

It was more like a long-time friends gathering.
Zhong, Tom, Stella, Wanying and I grabbed every chance
to snap pictures with each other.

girlies

Stella, Wanying and I demonstrate to you
different styles of pouting. DUH~

self-entertain

When the “Winter Sonata wannabe” meets our “Da Jie Da”… …
Hahaha!!

night-party

Cheers to the blissful marriage of Shawn and Millie!
Cheers to our precious friendship!
