First of all, I would like to wish eveyone a Merry Mid-Autumn Festival! Though too many mooncakes are bad for health (and fattening) and this year’s full moon will be blurry in the sky, but as long as you spend time with your family & friends, I think this is the true meaning of this joyous festival.
Last night, I attended and hosted the wedding of Xianglin & Sheng Yi at Meritus Mandarin, where almost 1,000 guests (100 tables) turned up *dropped jaw*! In spite of my serious sore throat and flu-in-development, I had a great time catching up with my friends and was sure fun emcee-ing with my “partner-of-the-night” Kong Soon (hi five! for our chemistry on stage yea).

KS happy with his script, while I was excited about my ang bao, hee~

The groom Xianglin. Congrats to you & Sheng Yi!

Wedding dinner is a good opportunity to gather with friends.

Guess what was served as the second last dish?
Mandarin hotel’s famous “Chatterbox” Chicken Rice!! We were thrilled…
Other than wedding, birthday is another happy occasion where friends can gather and spend treasured moments catching up with each other. Like last week, we celebrated SK’s birthday at SAFRA Tampines “Sakura”.

It’s amazing how our friendship stays close since the 2004 trip to Beijing…
Presenting to you, the men!

SK always takes great care of me & Jieying (if not our fathers will
slaughter him, haha~) Happy birthday SK!
We had a belated birthday celebration for Huihui & Dar last Sunday, where the four of us had coffee at TCC @ Citilink. Well the gang of eight became four, because two are currently posted overseas and the other two had to work, but anyway we still managed to talk and laugh our way through for hours!

Our colour combination is kinda matching huh.
(L-R) Me, Huihui, Diana & Jessie.

Guess who? Gosh we were so song piak piak…

Happy birthday Hui & Dar!
Not forgetting Liping in Shanghai…

Wrapper acting as birthday card for Liping to be air-mailed to her
(thanks to Hui’s creative idea).
For two consecutive days, Dar and I hung out at the TCC along Citilink, and we celebrated Mr. Yeo’s birthday. It was heart-warming meeting up with laoshi, and he never fails to “entertain” me with his witty comments. Every time I meet laoshi, I’ll think of shimu (Mrs Yeo), this lovely couple really took great care of us during our 6-month exchange programme at Hangzhou, China.

Happy birthday Mr. Yeo!
