If you believe in fate, I can say it’s really fated that I made some very good friends during my exchange programme in Hangzhou. This special friendship overcomes distance and time. We can meet once per year, or even as long as over a few years, but always keeping one another in mind. Thanks to advanced technology (though I can be quite an IT idioit), we will SMS, email and MSN each other.
I believe that it’s the thought that counts, if you want to keep in touch, you will put in effort to maintain a relationship. Sometimes, “I have no time”, “We are too faraway” blah can just be excuses.
My dear friend Luxi came to Singapore all the way from Hangzhou. Though it was only a few days, but the two of us were so excited about this reunion. And our reunion extended to a bigger reunion, bringing back “our crazy gang” who went through the 6-month exchange programme (and the SARS period) together…

A warm reunion with our forever radiant Yang laoshi.
Side track abit, we had dinner at this restaurant at Carlton hotel, WAH! Noogee House. It serves pretty good Cantonese cuisine and I found out a value-for-$ offer. $26 nett per pax for its buffet, where you can gorge on its dim sum, porridge, noodles, desserts and many more! There is this interesting dessert:

Gui Hua cake with wolfberry & snow fungus.
Of course, I brought Luxi to check out Singapore’s night life at my fave hang-out: Zouk winebar. Ha~

Girl power!
Since time was precious, so we decided to pack our schedule with shopping (must-buy: Bak Gua!), eating (Luxi’s cravings: sliced fish soup, carrot cake & sugarcane juice) and taking pictures.

留下一点遗憾,期待下次重逢。
Then, my mum and I decided to “play tourists”. Might as well lor~ Hahahahaa!

Singapore is beautiful…
